Notes of Using Reolink Non-detection Zone

1. The alarm types are slightly different according to different camera models.

2. Motions in the area covered with GREY grids will not be detected.

3. Alarm Types

  • For alarm types like Person, you can use the pen to draw no-alarm zones, and use the eraser to modify the drawn zone.
  • Except for Reolink Atlas PT Ultra, for the Others alarm type, you can only add all non-detection zones or delete all non-detection zones. Because Others refers to things besides person and vehicle, which is PIR alarms. PIR sensors do not have a concept of specific zones.
  • Reolink Altas PT Ultra supports the partial zone painting feature for the Others alarm type.

4. The three zones—person, vehicle, and others—are independent. If you completely cover the Others zone, it will still be possible to detect person and vehicle normally.

5. The types of non-detection areas vary by model. This corresponds to the types of alarm supported by the camera itself, which determine what kind of non-detection zones can be configured.
