Note:

  • The installation examples below use a WiFi camera for demonstration, but the same steps apply to all Duo series cameras. Depending on your environment, you can install the camera on a wall or ceiling.
  • For battery-powered Duo cameras, an additional flexible option is to use the included loop strap to mount the camera to trees or poles — ideal for outdoor, non-permanent setups.

1. Mount the Camera on the Wall

Step 1. Screw the camera onto the wall.

  • Drill holes in accordance with the mounting template.
  • Next, secure the mounting plate to the wall with the upper two screws and hang the camera on it.
  • Then fix the camera in position with the lower screw.

Note: Use the drywall anchors included in the package if needed.

Step 2. Adjust the camera's view.

Loosen the adjustment screw on the security mount with the screwdriver (also included in the box) and turn the camera until you get the ideal view.

Step 3. Fix the camera firmly.

Tighten the adjustment screw to keep the camera still.

Done! You've successfully mounted your camera on the wall.

2. Mount the Camera on the Ceiling

Step 1. Screw the camera onto the ceiling.

  • Drill holes in accordance with the mounting template.
  • Next, secure the mounting plate on the ceiling with the upper two screws and hang the camera on it.
  • Then fix the camera in position with the lower screw.

Step 2. Adjust the camera's view.

Loosen the adjustment screw on the security mount with the screwdriver (also included in the box) and turn the camera until you get the ideal view.

Step 3. Fix the camera firmly.

Tighten the adjustment screw to keep the camera still.

Finished! Now you may start using your camera.

3. Mount the Camera with a Loop Strap

Note: This method is exclusive to battery-powered Duo series cameras and is ideal for temporary or outdoor setups like mounting to trees or posts.

Step 1. Attach the mounting plate.

Use screws to secure the included mounting plate to the bottom of the camera bracket.

Thread the loop strap (included) through the gap between the mounting plate and the bracket.

Step 2. Fasten the camera.

Wrap the loop strap tightly around a tree or pole and fasten it securely.

Step 3. Adjust the camera's view.

Loosen the adjustment screw on the security mount with the screwdriver (also included in the box) and turn the camera until you get the ideal view.

Installation complete! Your Duo camera is now ready to use with a flexible, strap-mounted setup.
