Working Environment/Temperature for Reolink Ethernet Cable
It's easy for the customer to find the camera and NVR's working environment:
IP cameras: -10°C~+55°C (14°F~131°F); Humidity: 10%~90%
POE and wifi NVR: -10°C~ + 45°C (14°F~113°F)
When installing the camera or NVR, if you also want to know the temperature range of the “Ethernet cables” that came with the camera or NVR, refer to:
Ethernet cable: -10°C~+75°C (14°F~167°F); Rated Voltage: >63 V
How to Use it
Reolink PoE cameras can be powered over the Ethernet cable, and the Ethernet cable can transmit both data and PoE power.
You can run 1 Ethernet cable from the NVR to a PoE switch, then plug 2 cameras (up to 3 cameras) to the PoE switch.
However, please don't split 1 Ethernet cable into 2 RJ45 connectors, as 1 PoE port can't provide enough power for 2 cameras. And also, the Ethernet splitter doesn't support 2 cameras connecting to the network at the same time.
For RLN8-410/RLN16-410, the power over Ethernet cables for all ports is no more than 270 feet for Cat5. If you use Cat 6 or upper, the Ethernet cables can be up to 330 feet.
