Reolink Keen Ranger PT is a battery-powered camera that supports smart detection, two-way audio, pan & tilt, time lapse, cloud storage, etc. This article will guide you in configuring these functions for Reolink Go PT Plus.
Note: The models supported by Reolink Cloud in some countries may be different. Please take the information on cloud subscription page for reference.
Smart Person/Animal Detection
Based on traditional motion detection, smart person/animal detection is a more advanced technology with further optimized algorithms to distinguish people and animals from other objects and therefore reduce false alarms.
For more accurate detection and fewer unwanted alarms, you can customize the detection zone, sensitivity, object size, and camera recording schedule for the person/vehicle detection on Reolink App/Client.
Especially by setting up the maximum object size and the minimum object size for person detection and vehicle detection, you can reduce false alarms caused by spider webs, light changes, and raindrops. The movements of objects smaller than the minimum size or larger than the maximum size will not trigger alarms.

On Reolink App
- Log in to the camera, go to the device settings, and tap the Detection Alarm button.
- Tap Detection Zone, then you could set the person detection zone, vehicle detection zone, and motion detection zone.
- Select no-alarm areas within the monitoring range with the Pen. You can also use Eraser to modify the setting. And then click Save to save the setting.
- Go back to the Detection Alarm page and choose Sensitivity > Smart Detection, drag the bar of Person Motion and Vehicle Motion to adjust the sensitivity. And then click Save to save the setting.

On Reolink Client
- Log in to the camera, go to device settings, and find the Camera tab.
- On the camera device settings page, please click the Alarm Settings button.

Siren
Cameras with audio alarms or Siren can make a loud prolonged sound as a signal or warning when the camera detects motion alarms.
You can enable this feature via the Reolink APP or Reolink Client.

On Reolink App

Launch Reolink App, enter the Device Settings page, and go to Siren under Notification settings.

Toggle the switch to enable the Siren.

Connect to the camera and go to Settings > Surveillance > Siren. Toggle the switch to enable the Siren.

Two-Way Audio
Two-way audio allows you to receive and transmit audio through the camera. Reolink cameras that support two-way audio have a built-in speaker and microphone. You can talk through the camera via your Reolink App/Client when you are far away from home.

On Reolink App

Log in to your camera on Reolink App, go to Device Settings > Advanced, and enable Record Audio.

Return to the camera live view interface. Tap the loudspeaker icon to turn on the audio and tap the Talk button to enter the 2-way audio interface.

Tap the microphone button to talk and tap the button again to turn it off. To exit the 2-way audio page, tap the cross icon.

On Reolink Client

Launch Reolink Client, log in to the camera, and go to Device Settings > Devcie > Sounds to enable Record Audio.

Enable audio (click the loudspeaker icon at the bottom right corner of the Live View interface) and click the microphone icon at the bottom of the live view.
Click the microphone to start talking. The two-way audio function is enabled and you can talk now. To turn the microphone off, click the microphone again.

Pan & Tilt
A camera with the pan and tilt feature is capable of remote directional control (left/right/up/down).
Pan means the camera can rotate from the left and right, allowing the camera to have a wide coverage area, while Tilt means the camera can tilt up and down, giving the camera a wide vertical range of coverage.

On Reolink App
- Tap the PTZ icon to unfold the PTZ menu.
- To control pan/tilt, please press and hold on the circle button and move it left/right/up/down.

Launch Reolink Client and connect your camera, then click on the screen to call the PTZ option like the picture below.

Clip
The clip function helps you enlarge the detail from the live view.

On Reolink App

Log in to the camera and go to the Live View interface, tap the Clip button to enter the Clip interface.

Drag the rectangle to the part you want to magnify, as instructed.

Time-lapse
Time-lapse photography is a technique that speeds up the passage of time so that events seem to happen faster. In time-lapse videos, the slow changes of objects or scenes are compressed into a short period of time to present wonderful scenes that are usually undetectable to the naked eye.
Follow the instructions below to set up a time-lapse capture.

Cloud
Reolink Cloud service is based on cloud computing technology. It can perform video storage, editing, and retrieval over the Internet.Reolink Cloud service is not compulsory but optional.

On Reolink App
- Launch Reolink App on your phone, log in to the camera, and go to the Cloud page.
- Log in to or sign up for your Reolink account.
Verify your email address. Reolink (noreply@reolink.com) will send an email to you. Click the link in the email to verify your email address.
- After logging in to the camera, go to the cloud storage page, and tap the Subscribe button.
- Choose a plan, read and confirm Terms & Policies, and proceed to checkout.
- Select the camera(s) and tap the Bind button.

Sign up and Create Your Cloud Account. Make sure to verify your email address.

Go to Cloud, choose a plan, fill in the billing address, and click Subscribe.
