The recording is an essential function of the camera. For Reolink battery-powered cameras, with a micro SD card installed, you can play back and download the video recordings of the motions the camera has captured. So this article is aimed at guiding you on the setups of the camera's recording function.

1. To make the recording function work properly, you need to first set up the PIR so that the motion will be detected and recorded as you have scheduled. Refers to the second part of this article:

3. Don't want to miss out on recordings after your micro SD runs out of storage? That's ok. Enable Overwrite and the latest recordings will automatically replace the oldest ones chronologically.
