Via Reolink App
Notes: For cameras Argus 2, Argus Pro, Argus Eco, and Argus 2E, you can only enable the siren, there are no settings for pre-alarm, sound test, and siren schedule.
Here is a video for your reference:
1. Pre-Alarm Sound
When motion is detected, you will hear the pre-alarm sound from the camera, indicating the camera is determining the motion. The pre-alarm may last 3 seconds.
Note: Once enabled, the pre-alarm sound will trigger whenever motion is detected, while the siren will only activate based on your chosen detection type. Therefore, you might hear the pre-alarm sound without the siren.
Step 1. Launch the Reolink App, tap the Gear icon to go to the Device Settings page of the camera, and tap Siren under Notification settings.
Step 2. Enable Siren and Pre-Alarm Sound. Then tap Sound Test to test whether you could hear a sound from the camera.
2. Customize Siren Sound
Step 1. Enable Siren and go to Siren Sound. You can select the Default sounds as the siren alarm. If you want to customize the sound alarm, choose Custom sounds.
Step 2. Tap the Start button to start recording your siren sound. And tap the Stop button to end the recording. The sound couldn't be longer than 5 seconds.
Step 3. You can tap Re-record to re-record the audio or tap Sound Test to play the audio that you just recorded. Tap Apply if you are satisfied with the recording sound.
Done! Now you could use your personal siren sound.
3. Set up Siren Schedule
You can set up a siren schedule for the camera to make it just ring at a certain time.
Step1. Tap Schedule and choose the Detection Type for the siren alarm. Note: The detection type varies from camera models.
Step2. Tap the blue bar to set a specific time in a day that you want to enable or disable the siren alarms, and you can copy the same settings to other days. Then go back to the previous page and tap Save in the top right corner to save your configurations.
