Smart Person and Vehicle Detection

Based on traditional motion detection, smart person/vehicle detection is a more advanced technology with further optimized algorithms to reduce false alarms and filter person/vehicle events from all movements.

For more accurate detection and fewer unwanted alarms, you can customize the detection zone, sensitivity, object size, and camera recording schedule for the person and vehicle detection on Reolink App/Client.

Here are the configuration procedures for the recording schedule.

Auto-tracking

Auto tracking uses advanced technology that consists of both detection and tracking. The camera will automatically detect, follow, and even record a specific vehicle or person in the cover area.

For how to set up this function for the camera, please refer to the below guide:

Cloud Storage

Different from local storage, Reolink Cloud service is based on cloud computing technology. It can perform data storage, editing, and retrieval over the Internet. Please note that the Reolink Cloud service is not compulsory but optional.
