Reolink RLC-511WA is a WiFi camera that supports person/vehicle detection, time-lapse, zoom, etc. functions.
To better learn the working principle and settings of the camera, here are some instructions for your reference.
Part 1: Smart person and vehicle detection
Smart person and vehicle detection
Based on traditional motion detection, smart person/vehicle detection is a more advanced technology with further optimized algorithms to reduce false alarms and filter person/vehicle events from all movements.
For more accurate detection and fewer unwanted alarms, you can customize the detection zone, sensitivity, object size, and camera recording schedule for the person and vehicle detection on Reolink App/Client. Take the recording schedule as an example here.

On Reolink App
- Log in to your camera, go to Device settings > Camera Recording / Email Alerts / Push Notification > Schedule, and select the detection type (Person/Vehicle/Others).
For example, if you want to receive a push only when a person is detected, please only select Person here and do not enable Vehicle or Others.

- Log in to your camera, go to Device settings > Camera Recording / Email Alerts / Push Notification > Schedule, and select the detection type (Person/Vehicle/Others).

On Reolink Client
- Log in to your camera and go to Device Settings > Surveillance > Record, then enable Record and click Schedule.
- Tick to enable the detection type(s). Click the Save button to save your settings.For example, if you need the camera to record only when a person is detected, please only tick Person and uncheck Vehicle and Others.

Two-way Audio
Two-way audio enables you to receive and transmit audio through the camera. Reolink cameras that support two-way audio have a built-in speaker and microphone, you could talk through the camera via Reolink App/Client when you are far away from home.
You could follow the articles below to enable two-way audio for your Reolink Cameras.

On Reolink App
- Log in to your camera and enable Record Audio in the Device Settings page.
- Return to the camera live view interface. Tap the loudspeaker icon to turn on the audio and tap the Talkbutton to enter the two-way audio interface.

Tap the microphone button to talk and tap the button again to turn it off.
To exit the two-way audio page, please tap the cross icon.

On Reolink Client

- Launch Reolink Client and log in to the camera, then go to Device Settings > Device > Sounds page to turn on the Record audio switch.
- Enable the audio icon at the bottom of the Live View page, then left-click the Live View Page and then click on the Microphone icon. And then click to start talking, the two-way audio function is enabled and you can talk now. To turn the microphone off, please tap on the icon again.

Zoom
You can easily control the camera via Reolink App to zoom in and out so that to view more corners and expand the surveillance coverage.
