This article will introduce the meaning of the status light on your video doorbell PoE / WiFi camera and how to configure status light for Reolink Doorbell cameras via Reolink App.

Meanings of Status LED
When Reolink Video Doorbell is only connected to power, the doorbell status light is white.
When the doorbell is connected to both power and the network, the doorbell status light is blue.
Please check the network connection if the doorbell status light is white.

Status Light State
White Solid (Short)
When the video doorbell is powered and starting up, the status light will be solid white for a short time until the video doorbell starts up successfully.
The doorbell status light can be set to solid white 24/7 or only at night via Reolink App.
White Clockwise Spinning
The doorbell button is pushed while the network is disconnected.
The doorbell is started up but not connected to the network.
The video doorbell detects a person or motion while the network is disconnected.
Blue Clockwise Spinning
The doorbell button is pushed.
The 2-way audio function is being used.
The video doorbell detects a person or motion.
Configuring Status LED via Reolink App
Step 1. Login to your camera on the Reolink App and go to the Camera Settings page.
Step 2. Go to Light > Status LED and select the mode that you want.
There are four options for the Status LED.
- Auto: Status LED will light up on person detection, button press, and two-way talk.
- Stay Off: Status LED will stay off all the time.
- Auto & Always On at Night: Status LED will light up 24/7 on person detection, button press, and two-way talk, and stays solid white at night.
- Always on: Status LED will stay solid white 24/7. In cases of person detection, button press, and two-way talk, the status will change accordingly.
Note: The Always on option is available from Reolink App version 4.42 or above.
