What are the methods for rebooting the device?
Rebooting the device can be done through two methods: software-based online reboot and hardware reboot. For battery-powered cameras, you can perform a power cycle by turning the camera's power switch on/off. For other cameras, NVRs, or Hubs, rebooting can be done by unplugging and re-plugging the power source.Will rebooting the device cause any configuration loss?

Step-by-Step Instructions for Software-based Online Reboot

Via Reolink App
Step 1. Access the Administration page. This step will be divided into 3 parts, depending on the device connection — For the standalone camera, For Reolink NVR or Home Hub, For Reolink camera added to Home Hub. Select one part that matches your device connection.
For the standalone camera, tap theicon > Administration.
For Reolink NVR or Home Hub, tap NVR/Home Hub >
icon > Administration.
For camera added to the Home Hub, tap the
icon next to the camera> Administration.
Step 2. Tap the Reboot button and tap Reboot to reboot the device.

Via Reolink Client
Before the settings, make sure you have downloaded and installed the latest Reolink Client version on your PC. Log in to your device on the Reolink Client. It will be divided into 4 parts:
- For the standalone camera,
- For Reolink NVR,
- For Reolink Home Hub,
- For Reolink camera added to Home Hub.
Select one part that matches your device connection.
Part 1. For the standalone camera
Click Camera Settings > System > Maintenance > Reboot > Confirm.
Part 2. For Reolink NVR

Step 1. Log into your device via Web Browser, and click Settings on the top right > System > Maintenance > Reboot.
Step 2. Click Confirm to reboot the device.

Click the power button in the top-right corner and click Reboot.
Note: Due to differences in NVR versions, some NVRs may require you to click the Settings icon in the bottom-right corner to enter the menu. Then, click Power at the bottom-left corner and select Reboot to restart the system.

Via Reolink NVR (Old UI)

Step 1. Right-click your mouse and then click Menu on PoE NVR monitor, then tap Shutdown.
Step 2. Click Reboot and then click OK to confirm.
