In this article, we've prepared an easy-to-follow guide on how to install a SIM card for Reolink Go PT Series and Ranger PT Series cameras. Follow the instructions below according to your camera’s SIM card slot structure.

Applies to: Reolink Go PT Ultra, Go Series G440, Go PT Plus, Go PT, Reolink KEEN Ranger PT, Reolink Go Ranger PT

finger The Go PT S Lite comes with a built-in SIM card, so there is no need to install one manually. If you're setting up the camera for the first time, refer to How to Initially Set up Reolik Go PT S Lite Camera for the initial setup instructions.

Depending on your camera’s model and hardware version, the installation method may vary. One method is to install with a SIM card tray (Left image), while the other is to install without a SIM card tray (Right image), as shown in the figure below.

Select the correct installation method based on your camera’s SIM card slot design (with or without a SIM tray) and location.

Installation with SIM card tray

Step 1. Rotate the camera lens and remove the cover to find the SIM card slot.
Note: Make sure to distinguish between the SlM card slot and the microSD card slot. Do not insert the card into the wrong slot.

Step 2. Insert a SlM-eject tool into the hole beside the SlM tray and push it in to pop open the tray. 

Step 3. Place the Nano SIM card into the SIM card tray correctly, then insert the tray back into the camera securely.

Step 4. After inserting the SIM card, make sure to close and firmly secure the rubber cover.

Step 1. Rotate the camera lens and remove the cover to find the SIM card slot.

Step 2. Insert the SIM card directly into the camera according to the SIM card orientation shown in the image below.

Note: The SIM card slot is above the SD card slot. When inserting the SIM card, remember that the gold contacts shall face down and you need to push the trimmed corner inside the camera.

Step 3. After inserting the SIM card, make sure to close and firmly secure the rubber cover.
