How to Configure Out-of-View Detection
Reolink App
Go to the camera Settings > Detection Alarm.
-
Navigate to Out-of-View Detection, and toggle the button to enable/disable it. The camera's PIR (Passive Infrared) sensor is divided into three regions: left, middle, and right.
Detection Angle: Depending on whether the camera is wall-mounted or ceiling-mounted, you can select either a 180° or 270° angle. This ensures that the camera does not inadvertently point towards the wall when detecting out-of-view areas, preventing most of the field of view from being obstructed by the wall.
Detection Sensitivity: You can adjust the sensitivity for each corresponding zone. When the sensitivity is set to 0, the Out-of-View Detection feature for that area is turned off, meaning that even if an object passes by, the PIR sensor will not be triggered.
Monitor (Reolink NVR Users)
Preparation: Connect a TV/Monitor to the NVR via HDMI/VGA cable.
Go to NVR Settings, select the TrackFlex camera.
Navigate to Detection > Out-of-View Detection, and toggle the button to enable it.
Similar to the Reolink App, the camera's PIR sensor is divided into left, middle, and right zones. You can adjust the sensitivity for each zone. When the sensitivity is set to 0, the Out-of-View Detection feature for that area is disabled, meaning objects passing through that area will not trigger the PIR sensor.
