The new System Notifications feature, introduced in Reolink 4.58 App and newer versions, helps users stay informed about important service updates. This feature delivers timely alerts about key services via a notification box with a red dot. By clicking the notification, users can easily view relevant messages.

Currently, the feature provides two types of reminders:

  1. Reolink SIM Data Plan Alerts – Notifications when your Reolink SIM data is running low, close to expiration, or has expired. It also includes alerts for successful auto-renewals, etc.

  2. Reolink Cloud Storage Subscription Reminders – Alerts when an auto-renewal for your cloud storage fails.

For devices added via a Reolink Account (referred to as Cloud Devices — note that this does not refer to devices using the cloud recording feature, but rather devices that rely on the Reolink Account for adding and managing them, and can be distinguished on the App Home interface as Local Devices and Cloud Devices), you can also receive:

  • Motion Alert and Device Abnormality Alert notifications, which will be gathered in the notification box. You can filter alerts by Detection Type, Device Abnormality Type, time period, and specific devices. To receive these notifications, please ensure that the push notification feature is enabled.

  • Share devices related information by clicking the bell icon, such as device sharing invitations, accepting device shares, or notifications when a device share is stopped. For more details on device sharing, refer to: How to Share Devices Using Your Reolink Account.
