Sometimes you may want to temporarily stop receiving motion alert notifications from your Reolink camera—for example, during planned maintenance or other short-term activities. In such cases, you can use the Snooze Alerts feature.
Applies to:
1. Reolink App upgraded to version 4.57 or later.
2. This feature is supported only on certain camera models. Make sure your camera is running the latest firmware available on the official website. If the feature is still unavailable after updating, your camera does not support Snooze Alerts.
How Does Snooze Alert Work?
When Snooze Alerts is enabled and a duration is set, you will not receive motion notifications from that camera during the specified period. Once the time ends, the camera will automatically resume sending push alerts whenever motion is detected.
Steps to Snooze Motion Alerts
Method 1. Snooze Alerts in the Reolink App
-
Open Camera Settings
Go to your camera’s settings and tap Push Notifications. -
Enable Snooze Alert
Tap Snooze Alert, select the desired duration, and tap Start. - Update or End Snooze Alerts
You can change the duration or end the snooze at any time by returning to the Snooze Alert settings and tap Stop.
Method 2. Snooze Alerts from the Notification Bar (iOS Only)
When you receive a push notification from Reolink, you can quickly snooze alerts for that specific camera without opening the app.
To do this:
- Long press the Reolink push notification in the notification bar.
- Select the Snooze duration you prefer.
Note: The snooze setting applies only to the specific camera that sent the notification. Other cameras will continue sending notifications as usual.
Once set, motion alerts from this camera will be temporarily suspended for the selected time period. After the snooze period ends, notifications will resume automatically.
