A new feature, Smart Linking, has been added to the Reolink Home Hub. With this function, you have more flexibility in managing your camera security system. Smart Linking links your cameras together, enabling you to build a more integrated and efficient security solution.
Applies to: Reolink Home Hub, Hub 1, Reolink Home Hub Pro, Hub P1
What is Smart Linking
Smart Linking provides a new way to enhance the cameras connected to the Reolink Home Hub by enabling automation. It works as follows: when Device A meets a specific condition, Device B will automatically perform a predefined action. For example, you can set up a rule so that when Camera A detects a person, Camera B starts recording, or when Camera A detects motion, Camera B triggers the siren. This feature gives you more flexibility to customize your security system, offering a more convenient and personalized experience.
In addition, for users of Reolink Video Doorbells and Chimes, you can also link doorbells with the Chime.
Note: Camera-to-camera linking is currently supported only on the Reolink Home Hub Pro and Hub P1.
How to Configure Smart Linking
Currently, Smart Linking can only be configured in the Reolink App.
