How to Initially Set up Reolink PoE Cameras via Reolink App

If your PoE camera is powered up by a PoE switch or a DC adapter, you can follow up the steps below to initially set it up via the Reolink App.

Applies to: All Reolink PoE Cameras.

Here is a video for your reference to set up the camera:

Step 1. Read How to Power on Reolink PoE Cameras and power on the camera with a PoE switch, PoE injector, Reolink PoE NVR or a DC 12V power adapter (not included in the package). 

Step 2. Tap the "+" icon in the top right corner.

Note: If you've enabled the Add Device Automatically option on the App's settings page, you can tap this device on the Home page and turn to Step 3 directly.

Step 2. Scan the QR code on the back of the camera. Alternatively, tap Manual Input and manually type in the UID (the 16‑digit characters under the QR code on the camera). Then tap Next.

Step 4. Create a login password for your camera. Then tap Next.

Step 5. Name your camera, then tap Next.

Step 6. Initialization finished! You can start live viewing now.
