A camera could not only store recordings to a Micro SD card but also record to a PC, this article will guide you on how to set the camera to record to a PC.

Below are 2 methods to record videos from the camera to your PC via Reolink Client.
Note: Before setting the video recording and playback of Reolink cameras, you need to update your Reolink Client to the latest version.
Method 1: By Using Manual Record
Step 1. Launch your Reolink Client, and go to the Client Settings > System Settings page.
Step 2. Go to Local Record > Save Local Recording File to and then click Browse to set the Record Path for the manual record.
Step 3. Go back to the Live View page and click the Record icon to start recording.
Step 4. Tap on the video icon again to stop recording, then find the recording in the folder by following the record path.
Method 2: By Setting Record Schedule
Follow the steps in Set up Local Record Schedule via Reolink Client (New Client) to enable and set the local recording.
After you save the settings, the camera will record to your PC based on the Record Schedule you have set.
Note: The recording schedule is valid for all the cameras you have logged in on Reolink Client.
