When you initially set up your Reolink device, you are required to create a login password. If you wish to change the device’s login password later on, this guide will show you how to update your password using Reolink software.
Applies to: All Reolink device.
Note:
- To change the device password, you must be able to access the device and log in with super admin account. You will also need to know the device's current password. If you’ve forgotten the device password and wish to restore or reset it, refer to What Should I Do If I Forget the Password to Log in to Cameras/NVRs/Home Hub.

Via Reolink App
Navigate to Device Settings > Advanced.
The interface may vary depending on the device model. Follow the instructions corresponding to your device specific interface.
- Tap Change Device Password to change your device's login password and Save.
- Tap User Management, tap Edit button to update your device's login password and Save.

Via Reolink Client
Navigate to Device Settings > System. The interface may vary depending on the device model. Follow the instructions corresponding to your device specific interface.
- Go to Login Settings > Change Password to update your device login password and Save.
- Go to User Management, then click Edit to update your device login password and Save.

Via Monitor (Reolink NVR with New UI)
Navigate to Settings (the menu bar location may vary depending on the NVR version, it could be at the top or bottom, refer to your actual NVR interface) > System > Account Center, click Edit button to update your device's login password.
