Battery status is essential for maintaining camera performance and ensuring proper operation. By monitoring the battery, you can take timely actions to avoid downtime.

What Does the Battery Status Chart in the App or Client Represent?

The chart shows the camera’s battery level and usage over the last 4 weeks or last 24 hours.

  • Battery Level: The device’s battery at the end of each day.
  • Runtime:
    • Auto Wake-Up: Device woken by PIR motion detection.
    • Manually Woken: Device woken by user viewing live feed or playback.

At What Battery Level Does the Camera Stop Working?

  • For the Reolink Altas series: Stop working when the battery drops below 5%.
  • For other models: Stop working when the battery drops below 10%.

Note: When the camera is connected to a solar panel, the displayed battery level may be slightly higher than the actual camera battery level. This is designed to protect the camera and prevent overcharging. If your camera stops working when the battery level slightly exceeds the cutoff value, the battery is likely fully drained. Then you can use a DC 5V 2A adapter to recharge and check if the camera resumes working.

Regularly check the battery status to prevent camera malfunctions. Understanding these indicators ensures continuous operation for reliable surveillance.
