Step-by-Step Instructions
Preparation Before Initial Setup
Step 1. Power on your Home Hub and connect it to your home router using the Ethernet cable provided. Here are connection diagrams:

Step 2. Connect your phone/PC to the same router that the Home Hub is connected to.
Step 3. Download Reolink Client in the Download Center or scan the QR code to download and install the latest version of the Reolink App.

Via Reolink App
Step 1. Add the device
1. Tap Add New Device or tap the “+” icon in the top-right corner to start the setup.
2. Scan the QR code on your Reolink Home Hub. Alternatively, tap Manual Input to manually enter the UID (a 16-character code starting with “9527” located under the QR code). Then tap Next.
👉️ If you are using a Home Hub Mini, complete the additional activation steps below. If you are using a Home Hub or Home Hub Pro, skip to Step 2.
1. The App will prompt you to power on and connect the Hub to the network, as shown in the image below. Once confirmed, tap Next to continue.
2. Short-press the Hub Mini button to activate it. When you hear the 'Welcome to Reolink' from the device, tick the voice confirmation, then tap Next to continue.
Step 2. Initialize the Home Hub
When you see the Device Initialization page, it means the Home Hub has successfully connected to the network.
1. Create a login password for the Home Hub, then tap Next.
Note: The default username is admin and cannot be changed.2. Assign a name to your Home Hub.
Step 3. Finish Initialization
Upon seeing "Initialization Finished," you'll be introduced to File Encryption and Event History features. Explore or skip to configure later.

Via Reolink Client
Step 1. Add Device
1. Open Reolink Client and click Add Device in the upper left corner.
2. Choose to add your Home Hub via UID/IP address or through LAN.
👉️ If you are using a Home Hub Mini, complete the additional activation steps below. If you are using a Home Hub or Home Hub Pro, skip to Step 3.
1. The Client will prompt you to power on and connect the Hub to the network, as shown in the image below. Once confirmed, click Next to continue.
2. Before you create a device password, please short-press the device button to activate it. After you hear the 'Welcome to Reolink' from the device, input the device password, then click Next to continue.
Note: If you do not press the Hub Mini before this step, a “Failed” error may appear when you click Next. In this case, short-press the Hub Mini's button before this step, then click Next again to proceed to the next step.
Step 3. Set Password (Skip for Home Hub Mini)
Set a secure password for your Home Hub. Click Next to continue.
Step 4. Name Your Hub
Set a name for your Home Hub. Click Next.
Step 5. Complete the Setup
Done! Click Finish to finalize the setup. Then you'll be introduced to File Encryption and Event History features. Click Next to start using Home Hub.
After successfully adding the Hub, the LED indicator should remain solid blue. If the LED indicator is red, it may indicate that the Hub has not successfully connected to the network or that the storage medium has not been installed. Refer to Understanding the Reolink Status LED Indicators of the Home Hub for further information or troubleshooting.
