To enhance the audio experience with Reolink cameras, Reolink has introduced a Noise Reduction feature for some devices. This article will provide a detailed introduction to this feature.

What is the Reolink Noise Reduction

The Noise Reduction feature helps to reduce background noise during camera previewing and recording, improving the quality of two-way audio communication and enhancing the user experience.

How to Set Up Audio Noise Reduction

The level of noise reduction is adjustable, with four settings from low to high. Here’s how to configure this feature on different Reolink software:

  • On Reolink App

    Step 1. Log in to your camera on the Reolink App and go to the Camera Settings screen.

    Step 2. Tap on Sounds, enable Noise Reduction, and select the appropriate level of noise reduction based on your needs.

  • On Reolink Client

    Log in to your camera on the Reolink Client, go to Device Settings > Sounds, enable Noise Reduction, and choose the suitable level of noise reduction according to your needs.

  • On Web Browser

    Step 1: Log in to your camera via a web browser. If needed, refer to:  How to Access Reolink Product via Web Browsers.

    Step 2: Click the Device Settings icon in the top right corner, then enable Noise Reduction in the Audio settings, and select the appropriate level of noise reduction based on your needs.

  • Via Reolink NVR (Monitor Connected)

    Step 1.  Connect a TV/monitor to the NVR via an HDMI/VGA cable.

    Step 2. Set it up on the NVR monitor after adding the camera to NVR only. Go to Settings > Camera > Audio Settings.
