Some Reolink cameras support setting up sleep mode for power saving. In this mode, the camera detects motion but restricts user access to live view or playback within a set period. This article will show you how to configure sleep mode for them.
Applies to: Reolink Go Ranger PT, Go Series G450, KEEN Ranger PT, TrackMix LTE(Hw version BIPC_NT2BCNO38MPC1SD7V5), TrackMix Series G770(Hw version BIPC_NT2BCNO38MPC1SD7V5).
Step 1. Login to your Reolink camera, go to Camera Settings > Sleep Mode, and enable the Sleep Mode.
Step 2. Tap Sleep Schedule to set sleep and wake-up times according to your needs. After that, do not forget to Save your configurations.
When editing the schedule later, the current Sleep Mode will automatically disable. Manually enable it if needed.
Step 3. After configuration, the camera will enter Sleep Mode if the live view is exited for 5 minutes.
"Device Disconnected" will display on the live view page during Sleep Mode.
Note: When the camera is in Sleep Mode, it can still detect motions.
For network-required alarms (push notifications, email alerts, FTP uploading, or cloud recording), access within 5 minutes of motion detection is allowed.
If no new motions occur or user access is absent for 5 minutes, Sleep Mode reactivates.
